The Finishing Trades Institute of British Columbia (FTIBC) administers the Safety Passport Program exclusively for IUPAT DC38 members. The FTIBC offers a wide variety of safety training courses throughout the on evenings and weekends.
Safety courses include:
- Fall Protection
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform operator training (Boom and Scissor Lift)
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- WHMIS 2015
- Swing Stage training
- Scaffolds and Ladders,
- Respirator training
- Powder Actuated Tools
- Confined Space Entry
- Confined Space Awareness
- Supervising for Safety
- OFA Transportation Endorsements
The FTI also conducts Hearing Tests (Audiograms) for its members.
